Fundraising & Marketing Summer Intern 

(18-20 Hrs/Wk; $15/Hour)

 

​​As Mentor North's summer intern, you will support our annual Summer Fest fundraiser on the Earth Rider Festival Grounds (June 25th) to help ensure a successful event and strong donor stewardship throughout the summer.

​

This position offers experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, marketing, and event coordination. The intern will work closely with the Development and Communications Coordinator and Summer Fest Task Force.

AmeriCorps Position Available June 1st!

Mentor North is seeking a full-time AmeriCorps VISTA to serve from June 2026-May 2027

​

The Digital Systems & Strategy Coordinator VISTA will build Mentor North’s organizational capacity by assessing, improving, and documenting internal systems for data management, reporting, project management, and communication.

 

The member will:

  1. Assess digital infrastructure to identify efficiency gaps

  2. Develop and document improved digital systems

  3. Organize digital assets and develop workflows that improve the organization’s ability to share the impact of mentorship through consistent storytelling and outreach.
     

Abilities, Experience and/or Areas of Interest (Ideal):

  • Organizational and analytical skills

  • Interest in nonprofit operations, systems thinking, and capacity building

  • Use of digital tools for data management, communication, and project management (e.g., Google Workspace, databases, project boards, design tools)

  • Ability to create clear documentation and user guides

  • Effective communication across multiple channels

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Interest in youth development, mentorship, and community-based work

  • Ability to help foster a welcoming, safe environment that values a wide variety of identities and experience

Volunteer

There are many ways to support our mission of celebrating youth and empowering families all while make mentoring happen for more youth.  Whether you are looking for a smaller time commitment or have other skills to offer, we look forward to finding you a way to support youth mentoring across the Twin Ports. 

 

Non-mentor volunteers play critical roles in making mentoring happen, and can include: 

  • Tabling at community events

  • Giving presentations to recruit new mentors

  • Assisting with marketing or office tasks

  • Plan or host group activities for youth and mentors

  • Support at fundraising events 

  • Serving as a mentor for a day to unmatched youth
