Community Experience Coordinator

Would you enjoy planning, coordinating and promoting activities that foster connection and confidence for youth, mentors, families and volunteers?

 

This full-time, hourly position creates opportunities for youth, families, and mentors to engage safely and meaningfully with their community and with one another.

 

It also expands Mentor North's organizational capacity by building and managing a more inclusive and accessible volunteer program.

​

The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, a commitment to equity and inclusion, an ability to help people feel welcome and valued, and a deep belief in the power of both community and participant voice to support youth.

College Interns: Positions Available!

 

Mentor North regularly hosts college interns during the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.

​

We are currently seeking a 6 - 12 hour/week

Marketing and Communications Intern for Fall 2026, with a possible extension through Spring 2027.

 

​This is an unpaid (volunteer) opportunity that offers hands-on experience applying marketing and communications skills in a real-world, community-based nonprofit setting.

​

Volunteer

There are many ways to support our mission of celebrating youth and empowering families all while make mentoring happen for more youth.  Whether you are looking for a smaller time commitment or have other skills to offer, we look forward to finding you a way to support youth mentoring across the Twin Ports. 

 

Non-mentor volunteers play critical roles in making mentoring happen, and can include: 

  • Tabling at community events

  • Giving presentations to recruit new mentors

  • Assisting with marketing or office tasks

  • Plan or host group activities for youth and mentors

  • Support at fundraising events 

  • Serving as a mentor for a day to unmatched youth
